We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account details such as name, email, and login credentials.
• Application profile data you enter for autofill (for example phone, location, links, and preferences).
• Resume content, including master resumes and tailored resume versions.
• Job tracking data such as saved jobs, stages, notes, follow-ups, and interview details.

When you use the Chrome extension, we also process job page information (like title, company, description, and URL) so you can save jobs, autofill forms, and attach tailored resumes.

We use your information to provide and improve ApplyX features, including to:

• Create and maintain your account and secure access to your data.
• Generate tailored resumes from your master resume and selected job description.
• Track applications and provide usage, billing, and workflow status.
• Support extension actions such as saving jobs, autofill, and resume download/attachment flows.
• Prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and monitor service reliability.

ApplyX requests browser permissions only for extension functionality:

• storage: to keep session/auth state and extension settings.
• alarms: to keep background auth/session refresh working reliably.
• downloads: to download tailored resume PDFs when you explicitly choose download.
• host permissions: to read supported job pages and call ApplyX/Supabase APIs required for save, autofill, and resume workflows.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share data with service providers that run core parts of the product, such as:

• Authentication, database, and storage providers.
• Billing/payment processing providers.
• Infrastructure and analytics providers used to operate the service.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We retain your data while your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal or operational obligations. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we continuously improve our controls.

• You can update profile information in your account settings.
• You can delete resumes, jobs, and related records from your account workflow.
• You can request account deletion and data removal by contacting us.
• You can uninstall the extension at any time from your browser.

ApplyX is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page.
